Here's to branching out. Once in a while it is worth branching out of your art form of choice, if only to breed new ideas for your main art form.
I have found that working with an instrument can help bridge ideas together. If you can play and see the complex ideas that many times are in musical pieces, visualizing a scene for a photography piece or a painting an idea from one's mind gets easier I imagine.

Also, poetry is a good way to get the creative juices flowing. What is so nice about it is that we can force ourselves to be as creative, or uncreative as we want. The more restrictions you put in the piece, the more creative one needs to be in order to create the piece.

That's the goal of most artists, right? To create, to be creative.
